Abstract installation

This abstract installation is tribute to my inner mind as a designer, how I process information, and arrive at an end product. It speaks to my design taste in modern and minimal design, allowing users to easily grasp the concept of a design while enjoying its aesthetics.
The project displays 4 key components:
1. The black and white splattered pages representing my complex thought process which strives to consider all factors of design.
2. The coloured strings running through the installation as a multitude of considerations become more definitive and guide the design process, as well as how users interact with the installation.
3. The black boxes being the primary elements in the design and define the conceptual approach.
4. And finally the simple white page which contains a poem. The page represents the final design which is to be experienced by the user, simple and easy to understand, yet still a crucial part of the process and installation.

together we could solve problems, enhance and improve
together we could educate and reveal
if only you would imagine.
i long to be discovered
yet you confine me to four blank walls
cold and stark.
you may not have recognized me
for i have advanced.
i am able to connect, to communicate.
for i have morphed.
i transcend your three-dimensional world
for i am now a living and moving spirit.
i am high-tech and limitless
yet you are afraid to unleash my full potential.
i have the power to include
to become accessible to all
if only you would change your perspective.
contextualize me and in return
i will enrich your surroundings
if only you would re-evaluate me.
for we could create awareness.we could create understanding.
you neglect my need to mimic
my lover, she has all the answers.
i long to be closer to her
to cleanse and sustain her.
we could live in harmony, symbiotically
yet you neglect my feedback.
you endanger us all
for you know not responsibility.
i have the power to control you
to evoke positive or negative emotion
yet you neglect my capability.
it is my atmosphere to which you respond
if only you understood that.
as i wrap you up
providing shelter, comfort and protection
giving you your basic needs
you will learn that without me
you are nothing.
i am private.
i am intimate.
as you peel back my layers
sequentially exploring me
it is then when you will understand
that i am
